Croquembouche... was meant to be...

I have cooked something new every day after Christmas... Not special, but something interesting. Like these puff profiteroles. I wanted to bake them for the New Year Eve and make a Croquembouche cake. But we decided to eat them up like this... without caramel... without any tower :)
My husband helped me to fill them in with a whipped cream and pistachio paste because I din't have a special tip for it... But if you have a good husband you don't need any special tips :)
Well, these profiteroles are very delicious, very flavourful! How can I eat only one of them?! :)

Knitted scarf

Why do I always give my gifts ahead of time?
I knitted this scarf for him in beginning of December. But I couldn't wait so long :) And now again, I do not know what to give him as Christmas or New Year gifts...

Pattern from Kofteboken.
Yarns: alpaca, King Cole

Knitted sweater for my husband

It's really something special :)
I designed it by myself. And it was the first time in my life... But it fits him and I'm so happy that he likes it too. I also realised what I need to change next time, so will see what happens!

Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas Eve :) It was the first time that we did Christmas Eve like that. We usually celebrate it on 7th January.
The food was so delicious! The receipts are here, from Green Kitchen Stories. Thank you, guys! :)

Best wishes,
Katrin

December 23

Well, we cooked rice porridge with black current for breakfast and made some pasta - gnocchi - for dinner this weekend... And our new plates, design by Arabia. I like them soooo much :)

Best wishes,
Katrin
