Croissant

I don't know what's wrong with these croissants or with me :)

But I like them very much. And I want to learn how to make them. I baked them a few times, and something goes wrong every time. Too big bites of dough, too hot temperature for butter, too long time in the fridge, too short time... Sometimes I think that I simply need to buy a croissant from a local bakery and never try making them again. But I want to learn make this flaky, layered texture. I get it but it is always too flaky or too flat... or something else. And I have never had these beautiful layers inside a croissant. My croissants are like buns... 

But they were simply delicious today!

Lemon marmalade, beginning

While my orange marmalade was being cooked, I decided to take a few photos of lemons.

The light here was very good today. Even though snow was falling. Such a lovely day!

And whole home is full of an adorable flavour! I think it's the best time to make marmalade from citrus fruit 💛

Smoothie

I like smoothie very much. My best flavor was banana+apple+basil... until the last week. Basil costs too much now and my own doesn't grow yet.

So I decided to try something new. I took two celery stalks+two bananas+half apple+half orange. And it's so delicious! My husband doesn't think so, but I'm very impressed :)

Knitted socks

I began this year by knitting socks. I didn't have a strong desire to knit something big... But socks... You don't need even think about them when knitting. It's very simple! (Of course, if it's your 40th pair) 

So, now I need to start something more interesting than a pair of socks...

Cozy things

I have just put together my knitted things: a dress, cardigan and sweater.

It is so interesting that their colours get lighter as their lengths shorten... There is nothing special, it's only me who is wondering about it and searching something interesting in ordinary days.

Semla

Instagram began to show these delicious buns a few weeks ago... here and there...
I had no plans to bake them 🙄 But when I saw them more often, I thought to buy a couple of buns from a local bakery... Well, it couldn't be so interesting to go and buy... only a couple... But to bake them nearly at yesterday midnight... yes, repeat please! 😂
So, now you can understand what happens when someone watches instagram too often!
And, of course, we have 28 buns instead of only a couple...
